Soaps.com has learned that Jacob Young (JR) and new wife Christen are going to be first time parents!
Jacob and his wife Christen have announced they are expecting their first child, a son, later this year! The baby is due in November and they already have a name picked out for the little one - Luke Wayne Young. Jacob says they wanted a biblical tie (hence the Luke part) and a family tie; since his middle name is Wayne, they chose to name the little one after his daddy! How sweet!
Jacob and Christen were married on May 13, 2007.
Jacob's character, JR Chandler, may not be the best of Pine Valley's dads, but he certainly tries very hard to be a better dad than on-screen-pop Adam. With all that practice at being a pretend dad, we have a feeling that Jacob is going to fill out his daddy shoes quite nicely!
